Waterbirth Waterbirth is a method of giving birth in a tub or pool of warm water. It's a popular option for those seeking a natural birth experience, and is believed to have several benefits such as reducing pain and stress during labor. My seventh child was born into water at home. She was one of my easiest and quickest birth (a little over 2 hours from first contraction to birth). The warm water I was submerged in helped to reduce labor pain and helped me to relax further and allow my body to work with my baby.
